The 327ci-350hp L79 Standard Pistons are a high-performance upgrade for your classic Chevrolet muscle car. Designed for use in Chevelle, Camaro, and Nova models, these pistons are a direct replacement for your original equipment, ensuring a seamless installation process.
The L79 Standard Pistons are crafted from forged 2618 alloy, a material known for its strength and durability. This alloy allows the pistons to withstand the increased torque and horsepower produced by your high-performance engine, providing improved reliability and longevity.
Each piston features a flat-top design with a full-floating wrist pin, which reduces friction and improves engine efficiency. The piston skirts are optimized for clearance, allowing for a greater compression ratio to extract more power from your engine.
The pistons are also equipped with a high-temperature chrome- moly steel wrist pin, which is hardened and nitrided for added durability. The piston rings are made from high-quality steel, ensuring a tight seal in the cylinder walls for improved combustion and reduced oil consumption.
The L79 Standard Pistons are designed to work in conjunction with your factory-style connecting rods, making them a cost-effective upgrade for those looking to boost their engine's performance without breaking the bank.

These are nice pistons and by my visual inspection shows them to be free of fractures or gouges. The pictures show top, underside and all 4 sides of each piston. Also included in this offer are the original wrist pins and a set of nos Hastings piston rings. One full set of eight used standard bore forged pistons from the same 1965 Corvette 327ci 350hp engine.
The other 7 have trow logo and gm part number on underside do not l2166n top. Even though they were from the same engine and have external profile, one of pistons has part number l2166n on top this is left in all pictures.
